Uniform Suppliers and Prices
Hair Rule
- Hair colour and style must be appropriate for school. Hair can be worn longer, as long as it is neat and tidy. For Health and Safety reasons, longer hair must be tied back at all times with a plain black hair bobble. Additionally, hair that is over the eyes must be clipped back during school hours.
Appearance
- It is expected that all students take a pride in their uniform and are well presented at all times.
Jewellery, Laser Pens and Mobile Phones
- Jewellery of any kind, including earrings are not to be brought to school
- Laser pens are not permitted in school
Any jewellery or laser pens will be confiscated and returned on receipt of a note from a parent.
We recognise that students may wish to carry mobile phones for use on their journeys to and from school. For this reason, students are permitted to carry mobile phones in school, but they must not be used on the school site. Students who break this rule will have their phone confiscated and returned at the end of the day by their Head of Year or Dr Silverstone. They will also be issued with a 30-minute detention. If a parent/carer needs to pass any message on to their child during the day, please do this by calling the school office.
Loss of Personal Property
The Governors do not accept responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property including bicycles on school premises. Every reasonable care will be taken by the school to ensure the safety of students’ property.
New Intake each September
Further information regarding the purchase of these items by intake students will be sent to parents during the summer term after their admission to the school has been confirmed.
