The Sixth Form Centre
The Sixth Form Centre is self-contained and for Sixth Form use only. This enables our students to focus on their studies in the environment that matches their needs.
Wireless internet is available to all students in the Sixth Form Centre, in support of learning, so that students can utilise their own devices where appropriate.
In the Internet Lounge, students are able to complete group work, use computers or simply relax. This area is under the supervision of Sixth Form Administrator Jacqui McKechnie.
Throughout the day, our Sixth Form Cafe/Bistro provides hot and cold meals and snacks for students; it is also an area students enjoy for less formal working during free time as they can benefit from the music played on our plasma television.
We also have a supervised silent working environment; the Sixth Form Study Centre, where students can spend timetabled study periods and free time completing coursework and research in preparation for their lessons. The Study Centre is open all day from 8.15am until 5pm and is administered by Mrs Pat Gray and Mr Greg McLean.
